Holding Sauce for Classic Beer Brats

Ingredients:

  • 6 cans or bottles of Miller (drink 3 and pour 3 into the pan)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stick (maybe more) butter
  • 1 bag fresh sauerkraut

Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Hold grilled bratwurst in batter until ready to eat. Do not let sauce boil.

Another Tip: You may also simmer your brats in beer before cooking them on the grill. Always use fresh beer!!
