Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs


  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. sherry
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halved
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained

In a non-porous glass dish or bowl combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, oil, giner and garlic powder; mix together. Add chicken and pineapple, toss to coat and refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 hours. Preheat grill to medium high heat and lightly oil grate. Alternate marinated chicken and pineapple on skewers; grill over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
